Another messy weekend is in the books!  Rain in March, what kind of a summer are we going to have?

All of the fall sports have now finished up for the 2018-2019 school year, and spring sports will begin, weather permitting at the end of March.

The weather has reeked havoc on events scheduled for these past weekends.  The Marten Twins Benefit has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 14th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Adrian Elementary School.  The “Cousins for the Cure” Craft and Vendor Event has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 4th from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Be sure to mark your calendars.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Lawrence Klooster who passed away on Mar. 9th.  God bless the memory of Lawrence Klooster.

Haven’t spotted a robin yet!  They must know what a tough winter we are having.  Stay south until it warns up!  This week we could hit the forties and more rain!  Is that a yay or boo?

Deepest sympathies to Elaine Scheidt for the death of her brother Tony Sandner, who passed away on March 1.  God bless the memory of Tony Sandner.

The Adrian Senior Center has cards and bingo scheduled for Monday, March 18th, and Bring a Friend and cards on Thursday, March 21st.  Be sure to sign up a day ahead of time by calling the center at 483-2588.  It won’t be long and they will have a new home to move into.  Watch for further information.

St. Patrick’s day is coming up!  If you’re looking for a good meal with good friends, check out the St. Patty’s steak dinner at the Legion after the parade on Saturday,  March 16th, serving 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The parade begins at 4:00  at Adrian Auto.  This is sponsored by the Adrian Town and Country Assoc.  Wear your green and don’t miss out.

Our deepest sympathies to the family of Monty Ray O’Neil, who passed away on March 5th. Blessed be the memory of Monty O’Neil.

Deepest sympathy to the family of Diane (Heitkamp) Ermler who passed away March 5th.  Blessed be the memory of Diane Ermler.

Our sympathies to the family of Dan Nelson, Magnolia, MN.  Blessed by his memory.

Thought for the week: Did you know that a smile is a powerful weapon?  If you wear a smile, you will have friends.  If your wear a frown, all you will have is wrinkles.  Smiling actually make you feel better.  Start smiling today and don’t ever stop!

Have a great week!
