Happy birthdays and anniversarys to all! There has been lots of celebrating going on these past few weeks. What a great way to start out a new year.

It’s great to see all the pictures on Facebook of Adrian’s young wrestlers, and gymnasts. The teams and individuals are doing so well! Keep up the hard work!

The Bloodmobile will be at AHS on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 1:00-7:00 at the Middle School gym. Donate Life.

Only three weeks to the Super Bowl. The playoffs have been exciting to watch. Which teams will be going? Sunday will tell!

Matilda Lange of Adrian Country Cottages celebrated her 90th birthday on Sunday, Jan. 13th. She enjoyed a beautiful cake and ice cream with her family and friends. There was definitely lots of chatter! Happy birthday Matilda!

The AHS BBB won an exciting game last Thursday, with the game winning bucket made right at the buzzer. The Dragons are 4-5 overall. The girls dropped a couple of games this past week bringing them to 5-11 for the season to date. The Wrestlers took top honors at the H-M-S triangular, but lost in the Wabasso Tourney on Saturday. Up for this next week: Thurs, Jan 17-MS; the girls are at home against Worthington, while the MS boys are in Worthington; varsity BBB are at HLO; boys hockey is at home in Luverne; Fri., Jan 18: varsity GBB is at home against Edgerton: Sat. Jan. 19 MS BBB and GBB away at Fulda Tournament, WR away TMB Tournament, Gymnastics, away at Jackson, BBB is at home at 2:00 p.m; Mon., Jan. 21 MS GBB at Mt. Lake, MS BBB is at home against MCC; Varsity GBB is home against Lakeview: Tues., Jan. 22, varsity BBB is at home against Edgerton; Wrestling is at home in the Middle School gym against Worthington.

Coming up at the Senior Dining Center; on January 24 you can bring a friend and play cards, and on January 31, they will be holding the January birthday celebration. Please make sure to call ahead for reservations.
