Memorial services for Delbert “Del” Burdell Krull, age 77, of George, IA were held Monday, October 22nd at Zoar Presbyterian Church, in rural George, IA, with Rev. Dale Lint officiating. Burial took place prior to the service. Del died Friday, October 19, 2018 at Parkview Manor in Ellsworth, MN. On January 12, 1968, he was united in marriage to Delores Groen at the Bethel Reformed Church. The couple raised their family and enjoyed farming south of Little Rock. He was also involved with Little Rock Town & Country, as well as serving on the East Lyon County Cooperative Board. His hobbies included playing pool, pinochle, slow pitch softball and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Del was known for his laid-back style and always had a wave for whoever he met.
Del was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease over 22 years ago. For those who knew him well, his humility, coupled with his positive attitude made him an example to people who struggle with a debilitating disease. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
