Henning Construction of Adrian were the first to begin work on the new Sanford Adrian Clinic building.   On Thursday, May 24th. Henning’s began the process, by preparing the site and digging the footings for the new 3,300 sq. foot building.  On Friday, Thomas Roger Construction-Frank Roger Construction, from the Spirit Lake, IA area, began  work on the cement walls that will be the foundation of the building.  Frank Roger, along with four other men were working in the hot sun.  “We are actually building the forms,” Frank said.  “Then we will get a cement truck in here and pour cement between the forms for the walls.”  Frank has been working with his father, Thomas since he was nine, he said.  He is now nineteen.  His dad has been in the construction business all his life, but with his own company for the past ten years.  The company specializes in cement work, so their part in the construction will be at an end soon.  Watch for updates as the building goes up.
