On Thursday, February 15, the Adrian Dragon Boys’ Basketball team hosted the Wildcats of Heron Lake-Okabena. The Dragons won 72 to 54 in a Red Rock Conference match-up.
The Dragons were 26 of 35 from shots taken inside the three-point line. Adrian converted on 11 of 17 attempts from the free throw line. Christian Weidert led the Dragons with 23 points. Ryan Wieneke added 20 points and 8 rebounds. Brady Henning and Skylar Polzine each had 8 points. Ian Stamer had 5 points off the Dragon bench.
The win improves the Dragon record to 8-5 in Red Rock Conference play and their overall record to 11-11.
