Sweer Arends of Ellsworth, MN celebrated his 96th birthday on Wednesday,  December 6.  He enjoyed company all week.  Visitors to Sweer on Friday were Herman and Jo Kramer of Adrian, MN, Mary Kramer of Ellsworth and  Raymond Arends from Little Rock, IA.  On Sunday, visitors were Erwin and Lori Arends of Little Rock, IA, Daryl Kruger, and of course his wife Florence and daughter Sharon Arends.

While doing your Christmas shopping, remember the elderly, your neighbors and friends and your relatives.  You do not need to buy anything special.  Shovel sidewalks, buy someone stamps, stationery or cards such as birthday, get well or sympathy.  When you are getting your groceries, call and ask if they need anything.

Remember Christmas is all about God and love!!

Stay Warm!
