Our first winter storm warning of the season. We have been really lucky having it come in December instead of November or even October. It is Minnesota and the winter weather is here. Every day up to this has been a gift. We switch to the Minnesota Shuffle when walking and driving with care. Maybe crossing you fingers might help also.

We went to our first Christmas party Sunday and it was a good time.

Saturday’s Parade of Lights in Fulda was well done. The weather was as close to perfect as possible. It was barely cold enough to put on a winter coat.

A man went to his lawyer and asked him, “My neighbor owes me $500 and he won’t pay up. What should I do?”

“Do you have any proof he owes you the money?” asked the lawyer.

“Nope,” replied the man.

“Okay, then write him a letter asking him for the $5,000 he owes you,” said the lawyer.

“But it’s only $500,” replied the man.

“Precisely. That’s what he will reply and then you’ll have your proof!”

Teacher: “One day our country will be corruption free. What tense is that?”

Little Johnny: “Future impossible tense!”
