NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR LIVESTOCK FEEDLOT PERMIT

Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes 116.07, subd. 7(a), that Jake Wieneke will be applying to Nobles County and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for a permit to construct a new feedlot of 600 animal units.

The proposed feedlot will be located in the N1/2 SE1/4 of Section 29, Township 104, Range 42, described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of said SE1/4, thence running south along the east line of said SE 1/4 a distance of 247.5 feet to the point of beginning; thence running south along the east line  of said SE1/4 a distance of 396 feet, thence running west and parallel with the south line of the SE1/4 a distance of 330 feet, thence running north and parallel with the east line of said SE1/4 a distance of 396 feet, thence running east and parallel with the south line of the SE1/4 a distance of

330 feet to the point of beginning, said tract containing 3.0 acres more or less.  19-0157-000

The feedlot will consist of one 600 head total confinement barn housing finishing swine.  The barn will have an under-floor reinforced concrete pit to hold manure generated by the swine.  The final animal unit capacity will be 600 animal units after the construction.  The feedlot will be owned by Jake Wieneke.

This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
