Joyce Erdman and her daughter Pam and Mark Luettel of Adrian and her granddaughter Lindsay Meyeraan and Ian, Aiden, and Ava of Luverne spent Tuesday June 27th at the home of Joyce’s grandson Corey and Tara Luettel and Ainsley, Oliver, and Leo in Medford. Joyce and Lindsay and her family got to meet Leo Edward for the first time.  Leo is the 25th great-grandchild of Joyce and her late husband, Earl.  Grandpa & Grandma Luettel had already met the little guy when he was born.

The next movie night sponsored by the Lismore Booster Club is scheduled for Friday, July 21st.  Bring your own snacks, chair and/or blanket to enjoy a family friendly movie starting at dusk.

Gary Lutmer of Ormsby was a Saturday overnight guest in the home of his brother, Dave & Deb Lutmer.  The brothers spent the day working at the home of Cody Lutmer. Later in the day they were supper guests of Bruce & Ruth Lutmer of Brooklyn Park at their acreage near Leota.

Veryl Stoffel celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by his entire family on Sunday at the Countryside Inn after having family photos taken. Guests included his wife, Avis; sons Mark & Glynis and John & Lori; daughters Ellen & Alan Henning and John & Chris Rokeh; ten grandchildren with their spouses/girlfriends and eight great-grandchildren. Happy birthday to a man who does so much for so many!

Bob & Cate Koehne and Lucas, Maddy & Emery were 4th of July guest in the home of Bob’s sister, Wanda & Bruce Woodley in Hawarden, IA.

Marv Kern enjoyed dinner hosted by his daughter Pam Kern and Keith Rubis in Jackson on Sunday. Other guests included his granddaughter, Lexie Hoffman and Jon Harmening.

Dave & Deb Lutmer spent a long weekend in the home of her sister, Donna Dew near Oklahoma City, OK.  They also spent time with David & Doris Rollens in Clinton, OK.  The Lutmer’s returned home on 4th of July.

Joyce Erdman and her daughter Gail Erdman of Primghar, IA and Randy Egenes Hawarden, IA spent the 4th and 5th of July at the lake home of Mark Jonas at Lake Madison, SD and the home of Danielle and Elliot Apland, Peyton, Abbie, Callie and Jewel. Others joining them were: Justin and Meredith Jonas and Brooke & Claire of Sheldon, IA and Jason Jonas and Jaxon & Nolan of Garretson, SD.  She had a great time with her family.

Ashley Balster will be honored at an open house bridal shower on Sunday, July 23rd from 11-2:00 p.m. at the Good Counsel kitchenette.  Ashley is the daughter of Daryl & Cindy of Wilmont and is the bride-to-be of Nate Harberts, son of Mike & Lois of Reading.  The couple is registered at Target and Bed, Bath & Beyond.  Everyone is invited to attend.

The First Presbyterian Church will have an evening burger feed at the Lismore Park on Saturday, July 29th from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.  Music will be provided by the Cornerstone Quartet from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to attend.  A free will offering will be taken.
