It is good to hear that Mitchell Lonneman will be playing basketball at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD. Mitchell has a scholarship to help him start his college career. It is good to know that former Ellsworth, MN basketball star Cody Schilling was named the men’s basketball coach at Mount Marty!! These two young men will have lots of support from the fans in this area. We wish the best for Mitchell and Cody as they start their careers at Mount Marty.
Joann Wolf of New Ulm, former Adrianite, motored to Adrian to attend the bridal shower for Dana Kells, Bride to be of Phil Wolf. Joanne returned to New Ulm the same day. Joanne was married to the late Joe Wolf of Adrian.
We need another good rain so start praying. We had over an inch last Thursday but could still use more.
Don’t forget the Catholic Daughters salad/dessert luncheon on Wednesday, July 12th at the St. Adrian Church parlors. Take out orders can be ordered by calling 483-2718, ext 227. I will remind you again next week.
I am also urging everyone not to miss “Dawg Days” of Summer. It will be held July 8th. I have been so impressed with this great display at the Legion Building in Adrian.
