Little Molly Einck is now 3 weeks old. She is making good progress following her heart surgery and is getting closer to getting back home to Minnesota. What an amazing little gal! On Tuesday, February 28th, Katie Wieneke was inducted into the nursing program at the University of Sioux Falls. Her parents, Steven & Laurie Wieneke, and her sister, Carmen Fey of Edgerton attended the ceremony. Congratulations, Katie. You’ll make a great nurse
Congrats to Kelsey Altman & Andrew Lonneman on their engagement. Parents of the couple are Cliff & Tammi Altman of Lismore and Kevin & Nancy Lonneman of Adrian. Kelsey & Andrew live in Springdale, AR and will be married at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on July 15th.
The Lismore community extends sympathy to Jim & Angeline Reisdorfer on the death of Jim’s brother, Dale of Fort Worth, TX. Dale was 77 years old. He passed away after suffering with COPD for several years. Dale & his wife Anita loved to travel and visited six of the seven continents. He will be remembered for his quick wit, great sense of humor, and his generosity with his family. Blessed be his memory.
St. Anthony CCW will host a Spring Social on Saturday, March 11th following the 5:00 PM Mass. On the menu will be roast beef commercials, a vegetable, bars and beverage. Bingo will be played after the meal. Everyone is invited.
Deb Lutmer met her sisters, Rita Drew of Charlevoix, MI and Donna Dew of Edmond, OK in Watertown, WI for the weekend. They attended the wedding reception of family friends, Terry & Theresa at the Elks Lodge on Saturday evening.
The “food fight” competition between the Catholic Daughters and the Knights of Columbus ends soon. Choose which organization you’d like to support and place your non-perishable food items, personal care items, or household items in the respective box at St. Anthony’s. Remember EVERYONE wins—all items collected will benefit the local food shelves. An evening of fun, food, and fellowship will conclude the competition.
The American Legion Auxiliary will meet on Wednesday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m. Laurie Wieneke will serve lunch and Jessica Fedt will provide the Bingo prizes.
