Ellsworth News 3-8-17

Daryle Boelman, Montana spent  time visiting friends and relatives in the Ellsworth area.  He came especially to help his mother, Adeline Boelman celebrate her 94th birthday.

Raymond Arends, Little Rock IA and Daryl Kruger, Ellsworth spent time Friday afternoon visiting with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.

Skip Birkett visited with Jim Mulder on Tuesday afternoon.

LENTEN SERVICES :   STATIONS of the cross will be on Fridays at PARKVIEW MANOR NURSING HOME, Ellsworth at 9:30 am with Mass and then again on Fridays at 3:30 in St Mary’s church.   ZION PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, ELLSWORTH  on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, Light supper at 6:00 pm with Worship at 7:00 pm.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Peyton Lewis , 7th grader from Ellsworth who will go  all the way to the State competition as a KC–FREE THROW WINNER. This will be held on April 1, 2017 in St. Cloud MN.  Good Luck Peyton.

On Saturday evening Keith and Marvella Klaashen and Henry and Deanne Kruger, all from Sibley visited with Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.

On Monday March 13, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Ellsworth City Hall.  the Ellsworth American Legion Post will be hosting the Nobles County Council of the American Legion.  Nobles County Veterans officer Mr. Bill Brockberg and a representative from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will also be in attendance.  All Legionnaires and Veterans are welcome !!!

Happy Birthday to Florence Arends who celebrated her birthday on March 6, 2017.  Hope you had a great day.
