Elias Sisters Headed to State Gymnastics Competition

Worthington Gymnastics JV & Varsity teams had a record breaking year. Both have broken team records.  They are undefeated at 13-0.

The Varsity set a new school record of 144.325 points in a dual meet and the JV set a school record of 137.85 points.

They made the Top 10 in Class A and competed in the True Team meet. The True Team meet uses a unique format where all five scores on each event are accounted for in the team total. In a regular meet, only the four top scores are recorded to the final score. The True Team meet features the top 10 teams in Class A, based on their scores during the season.

The team won The Big South Conference Saturday, February 11 & Saturday, February 18 they narrowly beat JCC to go to state for a 3rd year in a row.  Adrian has been paired all 3 of those years with Worthington.
