On Tuesday, January 17th, the Adrian Dragon Boys’ Basketball team traveled to Luverne and defeated the Cardinals 72 to 67 in a non-conference match-up.
The Dragons shot 18 of 40 for 45% from 2-point range and 9 of 15 for 60% from three-point range. Mitchell Lonneman led the Dragons effort with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Frank Serrao had 11 points off the Dragon bench. Serrao made three, three-point shot attempts. Ryan Wieneke had 10 points and 8 assists. Zachary Hendel had 10 points and 9 rebounds. Nate Lonneman added 8 points off the bench.
The Dragons are 4-2 in conference play and improve to 8-5 overall.
