It only seems right that on the day before Thanksgiving, I say “thank you” to the Individuals, Businesses, Organizations and Foundations that have donated money thus far to the L.A.C.F.’s Adrian Library Project.
My first “thank you” needs to go to the L.A.C.F. (Lismore Area Community Foundation). We would not be where we are if the L.A.C.F. hadn’t stepped forward to sponsor us. Because of their sponsorship, all the money that we raise will stay with the Adrian Branch Library and cannot be used for any other county project. Thank you, L.A.C.F.!
A thank you to the volunteers “teens and adults” that helped us with stamping and boxing books, moving books for the book sale, and helping with the book sale. A thank you to the elementary/middle/high school students who sold sunglasses on our behalf; and a thank you to those that gave their 4H funds on behalf of the library.
I would like to say “thank you” to the 68 individuals that dropped off/sent in money; to the 27 individuals that gave donations online; and the 44 businesses/organizations/foundations that gave a donation. That makes a total of 139 donations thus far – or 55% of our goal. I would like to thank everyone for their donation and their support of this project.
This is, indeed, a time to be thankful!
