Brenda Loosbrock and her sister, Vonnie Masselink, and niece Michelle of Sioux Falls traveled to Omaha, NE to spend time with her daughters Nichole Loosbrock and Anthony & Mary Jean Giovanni.      They were joined by Felicia Wolf of St. Paul, three of Nichole’s college friends, Shelly Loosbrock of Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, and Bethany Loosbrock of Overland Park,KS for Nichole’s wedding dress shopping on Saturday.  Later that evening they went cosmic bowling; forming teams of the youngest and oldest.  The bowling alley had equipment “suited” for Brenda and she is proud to say that the “old folks” won. Brenda had the highest score of all!!   Grandma Brenda was also able to enjoy some snuggle time with her newest granddaughter, Gianna, while staying at the Giovanni home.  What a great weekend!

Friday evening supper guest in the home of Pam and Mark Luettel in Adrian were Keith and Emily Luettel and daughter Blake of Minnetonka, Joyce Erdman of Lismore, Gail Erdman of Primghar, IA, and Randy Egenes of Hawarden, IA.  Evening visitors were Corey and Tara Luettel and Ainsley and Oliver of Medford.  Corey, Keith, Mark, and Ainsley went deer hunting for the weekend. Joyce met her great-granddaughter Blake for the first time and also spent time with Ainsley and Oliver.  It’s always fun to be with the family.

Jackie Wieneke hosted the annual gathering of deer hunters. Attending were: Troy and Eric Wieneke of Slayton; Nate Wieneke of Pipestone; Matthew Kirchner, Lismore; Scott Nath of Luverne; Alan Roemeling of Norfolk, NE; Jeff Reisdorfer of Windom and Joe Hornstein of Adrian. Jonny Beek of Inwood, IA was unable to join the group this year as he was recovering from sinus and adenoid surgery.    On Saturday night the hunters met at Jackie’s for a chili soup supper. It’s a nice tradition that Glenn started years ago (Troy thinks about 1979) and Jackie hopes to keep it going in the years to come.
