Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends enjoyed a birthday celebration with grandparents Keith and Marvella Klaashen, Sibley, IA on Saturday afternoon. They celebrated their great-grandsons birthday’s Micaha Wilson and his brother Kay Wilson. The boys Mom, Michelle Wilson was also present.

With the frost on the pumpkins the last three mornings and the temperatures in the 30’s and 40’s, we are beginning to feel the on set of colder weather and with that, winter will soon be around the corner.  Hopefully we will be able to enjoy some Indian summer yet!!

Sherri Haken returned home on Thursday after visiting friends in Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. The weather was in the 90’s, so it was hard for her to come home to the temperatures in Minnesota.

Larry and Nancy Haas, Newtonian, Missouri visited with their cousin, Jim Mulder on Sunday evening.

On Sunday, Joel and Robin Arends, Sioux Falls, SD had a 12th birthday party for their daughter, Abigale Arends.

Grandparents Erwin and Lori Arends, Little Rock, IA and Great-Grandparents Sweer, Florence and Sharon Arends.

Ellsworth, MN; Chris Klaashen, Sioux Falls, SD were also present for the special day.

A very nice crowd attended the 11th annual Holiday Bazaar and Parkview Manor Nursing Bake Sale on Saturday in the Ellsworth school.
