The Panther volleyball girls opened their 2016 season with new coach, Jessica Albrecht, facing Edgerton. The Panthers battled back in the third set coming up on top, but fell in the fourth set, losing the match 3-1.
Match scores were 25-20, 25-12, 24-26 and 25-5.
Leading the Panthers were Hailee Nolte with three aces, Sierra Smith four blocks, Hannah Kramer and Deven Dreesen with two kills.

The Panthers hosted the Red Rock Central Falcons in Ellsworth falling short 25-14, 25-11 and 25-17.
Leaders for Ellsworth were; Devin Dreesen, who recorded five ace serves and four kills. Sierra Smith had four kills and Hannah Kramer had three kills and one ace.
This weeks action for the Panthers will be against Sibley-Ocheyedan, Sept 12 and Mt Lake Area on September 15th.
